Welcome from the Highland Chieftain

May I welcome you warmly to our one hundred and twenty-ninth Strathardle Highland Gathering. Let it be a day to meet friends, a day to compete, a day to enjoy, a day to make visitors welcome, a day to relax and a day to remember.

We are proud of our independent traditions in Strathardle and none more so that the annual Gathering. As well as the Games, be sure to visit the Agricultural Show with a fine selection of local livestock and also the Home Industries Tent.

Our Gathering is the result of months of preparation and attention to detail by a small team of dedicated volunteer members of the Committee. In hoping that you will enjoy a really good day out, may I take this opportunity to thank the Committee for all their effort and initiative.
